We LOVE our Dentist!!

I had two fillings Kevin has been wanting to get done, so on a day when some patients cancelled, Kevin called me to see if I could come in. I don’t like to schedule an appointment, because I don’t want to take up chair time from other patients he could be seeing. It works out nice to live less than five minutes from Kevin’s office, so we buzzed right over. Kimball was in the room with me while Kevin was doing my fillings. I was a little nervous at first, but she loved being in there. She sat on the chair next to my feet playing with my Kindle Fire most of the time. Every once in a while, she would come over to see what Kevin was doing in my mouth. When Kimball saw Kevin drilling my teeth she  said, “wow, that’s cool daddy!” (maybe to her ;) Kevin would spray a little water at her in between fillings. She absolutely LOVED that! One time she got up and Kevin wanted her to sit down, so he asked her to sit down and fold her arms. She did exactly as he asked, which impressed his assistant. After she folded her arms, she started saying a prayer :) That’s our girl! The assistant was very impressed. Kimball makes us laugh every day!

Kevin wanted to clean Kimball’s teeth while we were there. His hygienist left for lunch, so Kevin cleaned her teeth real quick. Kimball was thrilled that daddy was going to clean her teeth. She was a perfect patient. She sat there so calmly, it may have something to do with the fact that her dentist is her dad ;)
