We went to an Easter Festival in town the Saturday before Easter. It was great! The admission was just a canned food donation to the food bank. Not bad for everything they had to do.
Kimball got to climb in a fire truck! She looks so tiny in that massive truck :)
She had to show daddy her firefighter badge sticker.
They had face painting. Kimball requested to sit on my lap, I love that she still needs or wants me every now and again (she is so independent)! She, of course wanted a heart on her cheek.
They had a huge monster truck and Kimball was almost as tall as the tire :)
Kimball and daddy went on a hay ride.
Kimball went in a bounce house and lasted about 30 seconds. It was a bit too chaotic in there for her :)
They had a little petting zoo there. The wait was about 15 minutes. We had Kimball see them from the outside first to make sure she wanted to wait in the heat in that line. She wanted to go in, so we hopped right in line.
It was well worth it! She loved petting the chickens, rooster, pig, goat and bunny.
Kevin went in with her and this chicken had an instant connection with him. As soon as he kneeled down to take some video, the chicken hopped up on his lap. He would stand up to get her off and then kneel down again and she helped herself to his lap again. I was laughing the whole time, but Kevin was getting pretty annoyed ;)
