We made a trip to San Antonio for the weekend so Kevin could attend a continuing education course for molar endo (root canals). He took Friday afternoon off and we made the 2.5 hour drive up. Kimball slept most of the way, which was nice. We checked into our hotel and headed to the Riverwalk for dinner. Kimball loved the pockets in her sweater! She walked the whole way with her hand in her pocket.
We decided to eat at Salt Grass Steakhouse. Kimball either just sneezed or she ate a piece of broccoli with too much pepper on it.
Kevin had his course all day on Saturday, so we went to Big Apple Bagels for breakfast and dropped Kevin off at the school. Kimball and I headed to Costco for “necessities”. I really miss not having a Costco closer. After our shopping trip, we went to the San Antonio Zoo. Our annual passes expired October 31st, so this was our last chance to go!
Kimball posing as a scuba diver, fishing in the kids pond and climbed in caves!
We saw crocodiles, elephants, zebras and so many other animals! Kimball was in heaven!
She would run from wall to wall and lean over it like in the picture below and say, “Look mommy, what’s that?”. When I told her what it was, she would say, “yeah mom!”
I took her on the train ride around Breckinridge Park and half way through she said, “all done” and wanted to get off. She isn’t used to a 15 minute train ride.
Since we were going to miss our Corpus Christi wards trunk or treat, we decided to crash the Leon Valley wards party instead! Kimball dressed up as a pink princess!
They had fun activities for the kids. We have some video that we will be posting soon.
Making her rounds for candy!
It was fun to see so many familiar faces and catch up with great friends while we were there. We had a great time in San Antonio!

I can't believe how big Kimball is getting. She looks so cute in her princess costume. Her hair is getting long.
