Visitors

We had family come & stay with us a couple weekends ago. Kevin’s cousin, Lamont, his wife Melissa & their 4 boys came from Colorado for their fall break. They used to live in Corpus Christi, it has been 4 years since they left, so they decided it would be fun to visit. We enjoyed having them stay with us. We gave them our guest room and Kimball’s room, so Kimball slept in our room.

The first night she stayed in our room, she was sound asleep on our bed. We went to check on her an hour later and we found her on our bathroom rug with the bathroom light turned on. Apparently our bath rug is more comfortable than our bed. We thought it was hilarious & had to snag a picture. We still can’t figure out how she turned the light on because she can’t reach them.

We hung out while the kids played in the backyard.

The slide is pretty much the only toy we have in our backyard. Our neighbors had their dogs out in the backyard and the kids wanted to look at them. Don’t worry, we were talking with our neighbor through the fence, so we weren’t spying on them.

Apparently Kimball was finished when everyone else was and tried climbing the fence. She didn’t make it very far.

Tanner is only a few months older than Kimball, so it was fun to see them play together. I thought they were good friends until I saw Kimball stick the rose she picked in Tanner’s eye :) It was an accident, she just missed his nose – sorry Tanner.

Daddy was her next victim with the rose.

Making sure the kids aren’t getting pricked by the thorns on our massive rose bushes.

He loves me, he loves me not.

Only some minor casualties. We really need to get some patio furniture, so that our guests don’t get tired of standing.

Kimball enjoys putting rocks on her table. Tanner loved our little toy vacuum. He took it with him everywhere.

Playing catch or dodge ball with the boys. I am not sure which one.

Thank you Larsen family for making our weekend more exciting. You are welcome to stay with us anytime!
