On October 22nd, we decided to carve pumpkins, since we would be in San Antonio the following weekend. Kimball really enjoyed helping out. She helped Kevin take the ‘guts’ out of the pumpkin.
She was our quality control making sure it all came out. The picture on the right is Kimball deciding whether she wants a happy face or sad face on the pumpkin.
Making sure daddy is doing it right!
She decided to make a happy face jack-o-lantern with a smile of her own to go with it!
I came up with a generic jack-o-lantern face.
In the middle of it all, I thought it would be fun to be domestic and make caramel apples. Yes, this was my first time making caramel apples and they did stick to the wax paper. We ended up cutting them and throwing one away because it wasn’t worth saving :)
Kimball loved taking off the ‘hats’ and watching the candles ‘dancing’.
Oh yeah, and she was obsessed with blowing out the candles. I lost track of how many times she blew the candles out.
It was a fun day! Kimball I stuck with the generic design and Kevin decided to carve a tooth :)

Nice tooth! Is that a cavity in it though?
