So, I know it has been a while, but we have been really busy the last couple months. I have so many posts to catch up on and it may take me a while, but it will get done eventually. So stay tuned!
For Thanksgiving, we headed down to Corpus Christi and spent the holiday with Jason and Rachel. The food they prepared was delicious! They are great hosts and we enjoyed spending time with them.
While the feast was being prepared, Kimball passed the time by moving all the canned goods out of Jason & Rachel’s pantry to the coffee table in the living room and arranging them by size and type on their fireplace.
Jason and Rachel have 3 cats, but Kimball really took a liking to Tigger (pictured below). It took Kimball a while to warm up to the cats. She could go to the them, but if they started walking towards her, she would freak out. By the time we left the next afternoon, she didn’t want to leave them.
Thanksgiving day was also mine and Kevin’s 5 year wedding anniversary. Jason and Rachel volunteered to watch Kimball while we went out on a date. After Kimball fell asleep, we went and saw “Unstoppable” with Denzel Washington. After the movie, we went Black Friday shopping at Walmart. It is the first time we’ve been and it was quite the experience. We spent 3 hours in walmart staking out what we wanted. We spent most of the time at opposite ends of the store. We ended up buying Wii games for $10-$20, a toddler table for Kimball and some other odds and ends. It was pretty fun! Thanks Jason and Rachel for making it possible.
