It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

We get a real Christmas tree every year. We love to decorate it and love the scent of Christmas trees. Here it is in all it’s glory!

Here is our attempt at getting a family picture in front of the tree. I had good intentions of getting Christmas cards out this year, but they may be Valentine’s Day cards instead. I need to plan a little better.

We went to our ward Christmas party before we left for the holidays and thought Kimball would be okay with Santa. BOY WERE WE WRONG. While we were waiting for our turn, Kimball kept waving and saying “Hi Santa”. As soon as I went to hand her over to Santa, she was holding on to my arm for dear life. We must be the worst parents ever because we kept her on his lap so we could get a few snapshots to remember this joyous occasion. Maybe she will warm up to him next year!

It's really a funn tradition by so many parents to have pictures of the terrified child on Santa's lap. Haha. We missed out on that experience this year, opting instead for pictures with the Shamu mascot dressed as Santa.

We're sending out Valentines Day cards too. How does ANYBODY get Christmas cards out?!

Santa must hate that age group! He sees one about that size coming his way and he wishes he had ear plugs. Too funny. Looks like you had a nice Christmas. Happy New Year!!
