The day after Thanksgiving, we all headed up with Ashley’s family to Disneyland to spend the day there. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there, so it was a lot of fun to see it again. They had the Christmas decorations up and had some of the rides themed for Christmas as well. It’s a Small World was all decorated and they were singing “Jingle Bells”, and The Haunted Mansion was completely revamped for “Nightmare before Christmas”. It was pretty awesome!
Kimball had no idea what was going on when she went on the rides, but she loved looking at all the bright lights and colors. Surprisingly she did well and even got a few naps in.
We got to watch the Christmas parade and a few other shows that they had going on. We rode all the rides we were wanting to…the lines weren’t all that bad. In fact, we rode Splash Mountain with no line. Turns out it was while it was dark and cold and everyone else was smarter than us. We got soaked and were cold the rest of the night. The fireworks were a great way to finish off the night. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great day!
