I was this close to turning around and swearing off air shows forever. We had just spent an hour and a half sitting in the car, moving maybe a mile. We were so close to the base, yet so far. One bonus of all that waiting was that the F-18 and F-4 went screaming directly over our car a few times. After a while we decided to turn around and try the back way, to find that we got right in. Awesome…an hour and a half wasted. By this time, Kimball was hungry and tired, so as soon as we got in, we pretty much ran straight through and got as many pics as we could before heading home. Despite the hassle getting there, the things we were able to see were pretty awesome...maybe next time we'll get in early!

I love airshows too! Looks like it was worth the wait...see you during Thanksgiving.
