We had a great time at the reunion. Kevin went wakeboarding every morning, even though he was sore from the day before, he wanted to get it in as much as possible. Dad was nice enough to drive him every morning. I remember the first time we put Kimball in the infant life vest, she had the same reaction as Dawson :)
Grandpa Packard joined us half way through the reunion, which was a special treat. We don’t get to see him very often. Grandpa and Kevin had a great time chatting it up! Kimball wanted to give wakeboarding a try. She was ready to jump in the water. Luckily Kevin was there to hold onto her. Our little Kimball is FEARLESS!
One of the days, all the cousins came on the boat and had a great time going on the tube!
Kevin was the only one that wanted to lean to make the tube go faster, or maybe he was trying to keep the tube from flipping over at break-neck speeds ;)
Kimball LOVED the tube! Of course, she was taking the time to point out the beautiful scenery along the Columbia River. Kevin had to tighten his grip on Kimball’s life jacket because she was letting go with one hand to point to various things. Everyone else was holding on for dear life.
After boating, we took the kids home to be fed by the babysitters mom and dad hired and the adults went out to lunch. The food was good, but the portions were huge, so we all had leftovers to take home. Thanks mom and dad!
We had the traditional “Packard Pool Olympics” where the kids played some swimming games, did various jumps off the diving board, diving for treasure and so on. It was a great time!
Kimball absolutely loved the water slide. Thank goodness for those life preservers! They really preserved Kimball’s life.
After the Olympics, we had a hot dog roast and made s’mores.
The kids fed the fish in the pond.
Lachelle did a great job with coming up with the menu and assignments for each meal of the day. All the food was delicious!
All the cousins played in grandma & grandpa’s driveway each morning. Kimball loved being pushed around in the stroller by her cousins! I am surprised that she let someone else take a turn.
Here is Laura and Jeremy’s little girl Zoey! I love the big flower bows on little girls.
There was lots of game playing going on!
All the girls dressed up as princesses and had a little parade to show them off to everyone!
It is always great to see family and have the cousins play together. Thank you mom and dad for letting us take over your house for a week. Great memories were definitely made!
