Orange County Children’s Museum

I somehow missed these pictures. While we were in California in August, we met up with cousins, Mikalynn and David for a day at the children’s museum. Mikalynn and Kimball held hands while they walked through the parking lot.

Kimball got a chance to play the harp

The little kids get these wands that they wave at different stones and they open up. Sometimes they didn’t work, but Kimball was determined to get them working.

They went inside a dinosaur and cranked it’s heart, so they could hear the heartbeat. They had a dinosaur puzzle that Kimball LOVED! She did it a few times.

They had a grocery store that the kids got to go around and scan different items depending on what the question on the screen was. If they got, all the answers correct during their shopping trip, they got their picture taken and it should up on the wall. Great job, Kimball!

David was a delight and just went along with the chaos.

Kimball was excited to drive a Zamboni!

Kimball attempted to build a lego spaceship and went into a wind tunnel!

They had a tornado simulator that was pretty cool. Mikalynn and Kimball went in Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Sam. I wanted to get in and give it a try. I had to hold the door closed, so we could get the full affect :)

Mikalynn and Kimball put on the turtle backpacks and made their way through the tunnel..

Kimball went into a submarine and was desperate looking for a way out.

We had a great time! Kimball was exhausted by the end and fell asleep on the way home! Thanks for a fun day Melissa, Mikalynn and David!
