THIS! Wow, time really does fly! She came into the world as a light weight at 18.5in. long and 6lbs. 11oz. She didn’t stay little for long. She is now 40in. tall and around 34 pounds.
Kimball loved her birthday! She loved seeing all the presents set out for her in the morning. She had to just sit in the middle of them all.
Grandma Briggs came out for her birthday, which was a real treat! We miss not being close to family. My mom got Kimball a “happy smiley face plate”. Kimball loves that plate to this day. She gets so excited when she sees that it is clean out of the dishwasher. She uses it almost everyday for lunch. She loved blowing out her candles and singing the Happy Birthday Song. She requested a “black cake” for her birthday, so we had chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting! Kimball is very strategic and careful when opening her gifts, so we had to help her out along the way to speed up the process, or else we would have been there for hours :) She got so excited about every gift she opened. Belated thanks to all who called, sent cards, gifts and helped to make this a special day for our little girl.
Since Christmas 2011, Kimball has wanted to walk down the bike aisle whenever we’d go to Walmart. She had her eye on the princess below for months. She would always say, “I want that princess bike for my birthday party!” That was her big surprise gift. She has yet to learn to ride it, mainly because it is so blasted hot here in the Summer and Kevin and I are ready to come in after a few short minutes of being outside and doing all the work for her!
We love our little princess Kimball! She is truly a miracle and a great blessing in our lives! She has such a fun, outgoing, rough housing, sweet and observant (I can’t sneak anything by her) personality. She brings us so much joy everyday of our lives. Happy 3rd! Mommy and daddy love you!!!!
