We had some visitors in June! The Dentons & the Ames came to visit us from San Antonio. While in dental school, they would come over almost weekly to play games. They were always good sports to come over to our house, so we could get Kimball down at a decent time each night. After we moved down to Corpus Christi, Lindsay and Mandy both had beautiful baby girls. It was fun to see all of them! Jay and Jonathan both finished their AEGD programs this last Summer and we are grateful we were able to have one last get together before we all went our separate ways :(
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of the Ames’ little girl Charlotte. She must have been sleeping.
We had a great feast that weekend and made homemade ice cream – it was delicious! Kimball felt like wearing Kevin’s socks. They are a little big for her and she looked like she had dinosaur feet. She also enjoyed striking a pose for us before we headed to the beach.
Kimball loved running in the water and finding seashells with daddy to put in her new found purple pail.
To say Kimball is OBSESSED with babies would be an understatement. Lindsay was sweet enough to allow Kimball to hold Kate for a few minutes. That was the highlight of her weekend!
