I feel it a great responsibility and blessing to be a mom. As a mom, I have my challenging days, but the rewarding days outweigh the hard ones. Kevin & Kimball made it very nice by making me a pancake breakfast in the morning! They got me a new knife set, so that I might enjoy cooking a little more :) Our old knife set was getting a little old. Kevin got them for $10 at a garage sale in Provo about 6.5 years ago. They were brand new, and they have served us well. It is amazing what a difference it makes having a knife set that actually cuts without sawing back & forth :) Kevin was very thoughtful and knew exactly what I needed! I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with my little angel! I am grateful that we get to experience so many new adventures together. I love that she is my little buddy that accompanies me everywhere I go! It will be a bittersweet day when she starts preschool in the fall. I know that she will do well there. Kimball teaches me so much more than I can ever teach her. I love my little girl!
We are grateful to our moms that raised us up to be the people we are today. We are grateful for the examples they are to us in our lives. Kimball definitely loves her grandmas! Funny story-I was going over gender with Kimball not too long ago and this is how the conversation went.
Mommy: Kimball are you a girl or boy?
Kimball: Girl!
Mommy: Is daddy a boy or girl?
Kimball: Boy!
Mommy: Good job! Is grandma a boy or girl?
Kimball: Grandma’s old!
Mommy: laughter
I told grandma Briggs about this and she is determined to show Kimball that she can be young too!
