The O’Briens came down to the coast a few weeks ago, so we met up with the them for dinner on a Friday night. After dinner we went a park close by to let the kids play.
Kevin snapped this photo and I love it! This was the view at the park.
Kimball & Peyton pushing Kyler on the swing. I felt bad for Kyler having Kimball push him. Kimball loves babies, but doesn’t understand the meaning of gentle.
She prefers to climb up the slides rather than sliding down them.
Me, Heather & Kyler. I really wished we lived closer!
We met up with the O’Briens & Duncan's the next day at the beach in Port Aransas. Kimball enjoyed running away from Daddy ;)
Digging a fort and playing in the water. Kimball had to stop every once in awhile to look for seashells! Daddy is her best friend at the beach. He his better at playing the water with her. I am afraid of what is the water here on the gulf coast.
The girls in matching swimsuits. The funny thing is that this wasn’t planned at all. Heather said that Peyton was sad all morning when she found out Hallie was matching with her friend Emmi. Peyton wanted to have a twin too. When they got to the beach, Peyton found that Kimball was her twin. What a coincidence!
Looking for more seashells and building sand castles. Thank you O’Brien family for bringing all the fun beach toys!
Heather brought some magazines to read on the beach and had some to share. Heather, Jordan and I laid out reading our magazines and Kimball was feeling left out, so she joined in on the fun to be like the big girls. Kimball is definitely my little buddy.
We love having friends come down to go to the beach, because it gives us a reason to go. We don’t get to the beach nearly as often as we should. It was good to see our friends from San Antonio!
