Home Sweet Home

This is where we call home for the next few years. We absolutely LOVE our house. It is such a big difference from living in an apartment. We love having a garage, backyard, driveway to wash our cars in and a mail box in front of our house.

Our living room. I still have some decorating to do – like putting candles on our candlesticks :) We brought out our coffee table again. We were storing it in my closet in San Antonio, so Kimball would have more room to play downstairs.

I love the open floor plan – I can make dinner, wash dishes and do whatever I need to while watching TV or keeping an eye on Kimball while she plays in the backyard or runs around the house.

The owner left their appliances and we love them. We didn’t know until we were looking for houses, that house rentals don’t usually come with a refrigerator, so we were thrilled when this house did.

Dining Room – Like I said, I still need to finish decorating.

Laundry/Utility Room – we were also pleased when we found out this rental comes with a washer & dryer too. We were going to have to buy a washer & dryer because our last apartment came with them also.

Kimball’s room

I LOVE that we can just keep her toys in her closet and room and not in the living room :) The ceiling is really high in Kimball’s room like 10-12 feet, I would say. It makes the room feel much more spacious.

Master Bedroom

We plan on putting an entertainment center/dresser against the wall pictured on the right.

Master Bath – Separate jetted tub and shower. I love having a tub big enough to take a bath in.

Backyard – we quickly purchased a slide and pool for Kimball to play with.

If you look closely, you can see the steeple of the church from our backyard. Kimball was looking out our window one day and said “Church!” We live super close and walk to church each week.

Hooray!!!! What an adorable house!!!! It is so cute. We are DYING to get into a house but our townhome right now is pretty darn amazing too. Just wish we had a fenced in yard and possibly a pool :-)

I will always remember you washing your feet almost every night before going to bed. That STILL makes me laugh. Whenever I put my feet into Brinley's bath, she goes Stiiiiiink. Mainly because when we were visiting cousins last week, my 4 yr old nephew asked, "Why do you always put your feet into Brinley's bathtub? I said, because i like being close to washing her (we were in my parents big jet tub), but my brother said, "Because her feet stink!" So now, Brinley says stiiiiink and giggles. AWESOME! lol

Where do you guys live? It looks a lot like where we used to live. What ward are you in? We were in the CC 3rd ward, covering the South Side and The Island.

Congratulations on graduation, getting a job, and a new house! I must say I am a teensy jealous, Bennett still has 2 more years to go :) But we will get there! I can only imagine how AMAZING it must feel to be out of an apartment! Your house is so cute, and looks perfect for your family...congrats again!

Hey, this is Scott (Kristine's husband). Sorry, this is the only way I know to get a hold of you. I have some dental school questions for Kevin. Could one of you give me a call? Thanks! Oh and great house by the way. 951.801.8894.
