Our friends, the O’Briens had us over for a Memorial day BBQ and they had their kiddie pools set up all over their backyard – it was like a water park for Kimball. Thanks O’Briens – the food was absolutely delicious!
Kimball being chauffeured by Aaron. Kimball may have been in the driver seat, but Aaron did all the hard work. Thanks Aaron for pushing Kimball around for us!
Getting ready to play in Kimball’s new kiddie pool in our backyard
A little tight squeeze in our $8 pool.
Kimball got in a fight with her stickers and it looks like the stickers won :)
We made our first trip to the Texas State Aquarium as annual ticket holders. Kimball is way into marine animals. We saw the dolphin show and she would say, “Whoa! Big Dolphins”. She was having a blast. When they would go underwater, she would say, “Where did dolphins go?”
Kimball is really into sharks too. So we went to the sharks and every time she saw a shark, she would get so excited and scream “Shark” while signing at the same time. This little girl has so much personality and simply loves life!
We went to the beach for the first time here with the Hills (friends from San Antonio that moved down to Corpus for an ER residency – we are so glad they are here) and the Goggins (friends visiting from San Antonio). We found a beach that we like. It has a little shallow area that is perfect for kids to just splash around in.
Kimball took a few minutes to get used to the water.
Kimball and Bennett enjoyed playing with the beach toys in the sand and water. Kimball took her snack cup out to the ocean and shared with Daddy while he lounging in the shallow water.

We plan on going to the aquarium and beach more often. We miss our dear friends from San Antonio, but are excited for this new adventure in our lives!

How fun! I'm so excited you guys are down here now! We'll have to hit the beach with you.
That was so fun! Kimball is a doll. We all love her. Today I overheard Peyton telling Hallie that she was going to move to the beach and live with "asswee".
