Busy Week

When we arrived back in San Antonio, we HIT the ground running! We got back in Tuesday night. We drove down to Corpus Christi Wednesday morning to look at houses to rent and meet with a CPA. We left our house at 7:30 and were down in Corpus by 10:00 looked at 4 houses and all were a disappointment (really run down). Then our realtor took us to the final house that had come up on the market the day before and WE FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! It was a perfect ending to our hunt. It was exactly what we were looking for and was in our price range. The house comes with a washer & dryer, refrigerator and lawn service twice a month. It has a nice backyard that Kimball can go and plan in. It is a nice open floor plan – just all around perfect. We immediately filled out the application, got a cashiers check for the deposit and I called the listing agent several times (I figured if I call him enough the ball would get rolling faster). I am surprised he didn’t call the cops for harassment :) We didn’t take any pictures because we wanted to fill out the paperwork as soon as we could, so we will have to post when we move down next week. We got back to San Antonio around 10:30 Wednesday night.

Kevin had a lot of graduation stuff going on Thursday. In the morning was the senior awards brunch. Kimball and I went with him. Kevin received 2 awards – “American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry” and “American Association of Orthodonists”. Kevin also graduated Cum Laude honors.

We then went home and grabbed lunch and then Kevin was off to graduation rehearsal. That night we went to a dinner & dance party for the Senior class. It was perfect because we could go as casual or fancy as you wanted, so naturally we went casual. Thank you Heather & Aaron for watching Kimball for us so last minute!

There were so many LDS people in Kevin’s graduating class. I think there was about 16 guys and 2 girls or something like that. Anyway, here are just a few…
