So, it is the end of September and San Antonio just received a COLD front. We are experiencing cool temperatures in the mid 80’s. So for dinner last night, I decided to pack a picnic and go to our local park. It worked out nicely as Kevin got home later than usual last night. You will notice that we set up our blanket on the concrete because Texas has a ton of fire ants and we didn’t want to risk the burning sensation of one or many of their bites.
Kimball saying “uh oh” as she fell down while walking (it was close to her bedtime). Yes, Kimball goes to bed between 7 & 7:30 and boy is she ready by that time!

Did somebody say, WATERMELON?!?!? Kimball would wander off during our picnic whenever she would see a bird or dog, and the only way to get her to come back was saying, “Kimball, do you want some watermelon?” She would run back as fast as she could!

Instead of sitting and going down the slide, Kimball prefers to walk down them. I am trying to teach her the proper way to go up and slide down. I think she is getting the hang of it!
Oh no, they caught me driving without a license! It was fun while it lasted!
Kimball had a GREAT time on the swing. Kimball was saying “wee” the whole time, with the perma-smile pictured below!
I love this little girl! She brings so much joy and happiness into our lives! We will have to do picnics more often while the weather is nice!

She is adorable my goodness!!!! Yeah those fire ants are not so fun and very painful, plus they take forever to go away. Wish San Antonio was closer so we could see you guys, even though it's only a few Hours away in Texas it's all so spread apart.
hey ash - I saw your comment on our blog! the dress is from David's Bridal, but they had to make a jacket for it, so it might be hard to make it work. Good luck! Kimball is the sweetest little girl. I love watching how big she is getting!
