Kimball and I made our first trip back to San Antonio since our move to Corpus Christi. It is a 2.5 hour drive, which seemed to fly by. I blasted music and Kimball was sleeping & enjoying the scenery. She is a great little travel buddy :) Our main reason for going up was to throw a baby shower for our dear friend, Mandy. Lindsay & I hosted a pool party baby shower for Mandy. The shower was Tuesday night, so Kimball & I drove up Tuesday morning. Our first stop was Costco (oh how I miss having a Costco nearby). We met up with Heather and her kids along with Lindsay. We enjoyed a classic Costco lunch and then were off to shop. It is definitely nice on our budget to not have a Costco nearby-I ended up spending $169 (on stuff we really needed ;). Kimball & I ran errands to get ready for the shower and were off to the party. When the shower started, I realized that I forgot my camera at Heather’s house, so unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to show for it. Sorry Mandy. It was nice to talk with people and hear baby advice from others. We are excited for Jonathan & Mandy! I can’t wait to meet their baby girl!
We decided to stay in San Antonio through Thursday, since we wouldn’t see Kevin on Wednesday anyway. We stayed at the O’Brien’s house! They are so awesome for letting us crash their place for a couple nights. Kimball LOVES Hallie, Peyton & is obsessed with “baby Kyler”. Kyler is such an AWESOME baby for putting with Kimball’s never-ending kisses & hugs. Of course each day started off with a large Diet Dr. Pepper from Sonic – thanks, Heather!!! We also attended a princess birthday party while in San Antonio. I don’t have dress ups for Kimball, but realized that I need to get her some, because she looks so cute dressed up like a princess!!
A special thanks to Peyton & Hallie for loaning Kimball a Cinderella dress to wear.
On the way to the party. Kimball loved riding in Heather’s car! She thought it was an amusement park ride – she giggled the whole way and would say “fun” every time we went over a speed bump :)
They decorated crowns.
The finished product! I am not sure about the face she is making, but we will just say she is puckering up for a kiss from her prince (whomever that may be).
Sitting down and listening to the fairy tale that was being read.
Singing Happy Birthday to Princess Bailey!
We tried snapping a few pictures after the party.
Kimball giving Peyton a hug. Peyton isn’t so sure about it :)
Thursday morning, we took our time getting ready. Kimball & Peyton played in the morning. Heather & I tried getting a few more pictures. On the porch in front of the girl’s playhouse.
Another hug – can you feel the love?
Kimball, Heather & Peyton.
Me & Kimball before taking off for Corpus (not our best picture), but I wanted to show that I really was there :)
Thank you O’Brien fam for letting us crash your house for a couple days! You are great hosts! I hope we didn’t overstay our welcome. Thank you for yummy meals and keeping us entertained! We really miss our friends in San Antonio.

FUN trip! Your hair is super blonde and I love it, and I'm jealous :-) I'm dying to get my hair blonde again!!
KIMBALL! You are adorable. And Brinley totally has those white target sandals too! I found them on sale finally and had to snatch them up. Since we wear sandals 10 months out of the year anyways!!
HOW CUTE!!! i believe the prince she is puckering up for lives in Carlsbad CA, so it's in your best interest for kimball to move back here :)

We miss you guys already! My girls have been asking when you're coming back :). We just redid the room and got a normal bed so you will have to let me redeem myself and come back :). Kimball is adorable.
It was fun to see you both. I love her kissy face-that will definately make the wedding video!
