The Sesame Street Bay of Play is now open at the Sea World in San Antonio!!! As mentioned in previous posts, Kimball has a LOVE for Elmo. She has since developed the same love for all Sesame Street characters. Kimball was in HEAVEN at this new play area all based on characters she loves.
This a month of “firsts”. This is Kimball’s first ride on a merry go round. When we jumped on the merry go round. Kimball kept pointing to the horses and would say “neigh, neigh!” (she calls a horse a “neigh neigh”). She was a little nervous at first, but warmed up to the idea rather quickly. I jumped on the horse next to her and we both had a great time! She loves to rock the pink sunglasses.
Holding on to the pole for dear life!
Kimball loves the characters from afar. We couldn’t find Elmo during picture time, but we did manage to get a picture with Telle & Cookie Monster. Thanks to the worker who took our picture otherwise Kimball would not have taken a picture with them.
We climbed up a netted jumpy thing to get to the slide, which is quite the workout. Kimball kept getting her foot stuck, so I ended up carrying her most of the way. She loved going down the slide, so when we reached the bottom, she said “again”. We made our way back up the net and back down the slide. When she said “again” the second time. I distracted her with a different activity.
We met up with Brittanie & Brenan and made our way the splash pad for toddlers. This was absolutely PERFECT for Kimball. They had fun playing in the cold water. Isn’t it crazy to believe that we are able to wear swimsuits and play in cold water during the first week of March?
I think she is pointing to a picture of Elmo. Is it wrong to be jealous of my own daughter’s skin. She hasn’t been out in the sun since last Summer and already has a tan.
Kimball was chasing after Brenan.
I didn’t get a picture of this, but we saw the Sesame Street 4D movie. Kimball did a pretty good job of letting me hold the glasses on her head the whole time. She was yelling out each character’s name during the movie. When things looked like they were right in front of us, Kimball would reach out and try to touch it. Pretty Cute!
Thank you Sea World for making this play area! Our passes expire the beginning of May, so we will try to visit you once a week!

I wish we still had passes. My kids would love the carousel. They've never been on one either. Looks like fun!
Oh, that looks like so much fun! I wish we were there with you! William just went on his first merry-go-round too, this weekend at a baseball game! What fun!
She is such a doll. We ended up getting passes so we'll all have to go. I think I'll be there Thursday...
