General Conference Weekend

Jonathan and Mandy came over to watch the Saturday afternoon session with us and we had dinner together. They brought over a delicious chicken and a homemade pumpkin pie (made from a real pumpkin) Yummy! Thanks guys! Kevin picked up a few of his friends and went to the Priesthood session at 7:00. When Kevin got home, we went out to Shakes, a great ice cream place around here and had some delicious Ice Cream...probably not the best thing for us at 10:00 at night, but we still had fun. What a fun day!

We had a late breakfast with the Luff's on Sunday morning and they stayed to watch the Sunday morning session. We had a ton of fun and they have such cute kids. Thank you for coming over! What an uplifting weekend we had. We were able to watch General Conference and be touched by the messages that our prophets and apostles had to share. Each talk I heard touched my heart in a special way. I love how President Monson talked about finding "Joy in the Journey". If we are always looking to tomorrow, we will have many empty yesterdays (something to that effect). I love Conference!

Kevin and I ended Conference with a candlelit Pot Roast, Potato & Carrot dinner.
