Jack in the Box hooked us up with some "suite" tickets to the WNBA game last Friday. We weren't sure if we wanted to go at first, but we'll try anything for free. It ended up being a lot of fun! We were in the half court courtside suite with really soft chairs and plenty of leg room...it was great! Now I wish we could get seats like those for a Spurs game!
The player (Hammon) shooting the free throw is a girl who played for the Russians during the Olympics, which was a big controversy because she had no ties to Russia. She really is a great athlete. LA Sparks player #9, Lisa Leslie (under the basket) was one of the first players to join the WNBA (she was really tall)!
Our friends, Jared & Mikail came with us to the game because we had 4 tickets. Thank you for coming with us!
Kevin and I are always taking pictures of ourselves because we hate asking people to do it. We were told that we need a myspace cam (whatever that is). SMILE!
It took us a while to find our seats because I wasn't quite sure how to get to the courtside suite. We were told that we needed to go down to the Charter level. When we arrived at the Charter level, I felt like we were in a private club. It was pretty nice. Anyways, I wanted standard nachos (just chips & cheese) and they didn't have just normal nachos down there, they had nacho grande, which means more expensive nachos with a ton of stuff on there. We all grabbed a drink at half time.
We really had a great time and it was nice to do something different. Thanks Jared and Mikail for coming with us!
