Recently, Jack in the Box gave me the option of having every other Friday off. So my first Friday off was the Friday before Labor Day weekend...YES I had a 4 day weekend...which was nice! Kevin and I drove up to South Lake, TX (Forth Worth area) Friday afternoon to stay with his Aunt Alene and Uncle Kevin for the weekend. We had a fun and relaxing weekend...thanks to Aunt Alene, Aunt Shirlene, Aunt Janelle and their families!
Uncle Kevin bought some fun pool toys. They were like big water pumps covered in foam, so if you didn't have time to fill it up with water, you could just try to beat your enemy with it. Kevin was afraid of actually hitting Uncle Kevin, because that would've sparked the battle to end all pool battles.

Isn't it so sad how such a pretty pool is always marred by a battle between two boys?
At the lake with Aunt Janelle's family...we had a ton of fun! And yes, Kevin is really white. He really brightens my day.
Playing Make-a-Million with some friends in the Kaufman's ward...they caught on real quick and gave us a run for our money. They were such nice guys. It's too bad Kevin and I had to smash them.
Doug, Kara and Emalyn showed up Sunday night...we all greeted them in the entry way. We really enjoyed seeing them...Emalyn is so cute!
