As a little boy, Kevin was into trains, so he collected a few engines and cars over the years and decided to bring them home with us at Christmas time. He has spent countless hours researching how to make his trains look realistic. He really enjoys doing projects with his hands and has done a remarkable job restoring his train set. He hopes to have enought space in our home/garage to create a layout of his own. With that said, we went to the San Antonio Model Railroad Association (SAMRA) train show a few weekends ago. It was a fun thing to do on a Saturday! All the layout displays were very impressive. Here are a few pictures to show the detail that goes into model railroad layouts. It was fun to walk around with Kevin and see the sparkle in his eye as he looked at everything around him.
