What have the Packard's been up to?

So many of you are probably wondering why we haven't updated in a while. Well, there's no really good explanation except that we're lazy. School has really picked up steam for me, and the pregnancy keeps Ashley tired...when we're home, she'll usually fall asleep watching TV around 7 or 8. Most day we'll both get home around 5:30 or 6, then we usually have something else we have to do and won't be back until 9.

Well, despite our busy schedules we still make time for fun. So what's our latest addiction?? HOCKEY!!! Who would've guessed that?

Ashley gets free tickets the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) from work all the time, so we've been to quite a few games recently. I never thought hockey would be this awesome, but I'd have to rank it a close second to BYU football games in fun.

Here's a video showing us almost getting a goal...a fight started right after this, but the refs broke it up. This game we were right on the ice!

Here's a hard hit that I barely caught.

Hockey isn't hockey without fights! Some refs break them up, and some let 'em go at it. This was our first game and the refs were of the latter sort.

Ohhhh, we love hockey games. Not all that fun to watch on TV - but there is nothing like a live hockey game with lots of good fights.

Hockey is the best.. and the fights are right up there! We're doin well out here, just staying busy and getting ready to go out selling again this summer. How are you, Ashley, with the pregnancy? When are you due again?

Nice. Ashley's job really hooks you guys up! Do you get free curly fries with that?

Yeah, we really do get hooked up! We don't get free curly fries, but we do get 20% of every time we eat there. FYI, today you can get free medium curly fries at any Jack in the Box location.
